Heat 0–9 — how hard the table wants to swing back after a run. 9 is the strongest pull. The turn has leaned better at high heat, but this is still being watched.
The rail with or against — is most of the floor moving with this table's run, or the other way?
The Quiet Shoe — a cold table that has already pulled back over the day, with the rail against the run. This is the one table reading with a proven lean for the turn.
Player ▲ = play it up · Banker ▼ = play it down. Made = the price reached one swing your way before half a swing against. A minute that touches both is not made. Hands dealt while the room was closed are marked and never counted in the book.
The house calls the end of a run. The room then checks how the table is running. If the table reads right, it deals a hand: play the turn, play the run, or sit out.
The Quiet Shoe plays the turn on any table in the proven reading. TURBO Heat plays the turn on TURBO at heat 7 or higher. PENGU Read re-reads PENGU every Monday from its last eight weeks and plays the turn, the run, or sits out.
Every hand is written down the minute it is dealt, before any later price exists.
Counting — not enough settled hands to say anything yet.
House approved — the live hands have beaten a coin by more than luck allows (luck would do this fewer than 5 times in 100, however long we watch).
Cooling — still ahead, but by less than half the lean it had in the sealed tests.
Table closed — losing by more than luck allows. That kind of hand stops being dealt.
Re-opening — after the table closes, it must prove itself again before it is dealt.
Hands settling in the same hour count as one piece of evidence, because the whole floor moves together inside an hour.
